Universal Design for Learning (UDL)

What is UDL?
(a) provides flexibility in the ways information is presented, in the ways students respond or demonstrate knowledge and skills, and in the ways students are engaged; and
(b) reduces barriers in instruction, provides appropriate accommodations, supports, and challenges, and maintains high achievement expectations for all students, including students with disabilities and students who are limited English proficient.

Explain the history and purpose of Universal Design, and recognize the three principles of UDL in practice
Differentiate between Universal Design for Learning and Differentiated Instruction
Design and implement UDL principles in an upcoming lesson

Join us at the ARIN Central Office on January 15, 2025 from 8:30am - 3:00pm. There is no fee for this training if your district is part of ARIN Intermediate Unit, and 5 ACT 48 hours will be awarded upon completion.
