Principal's Message
Greeting Generals,
Thank you for attending our first semester awards ceremony! It is always an honor to recognize our students' hard work and encourage everyone to do their best. I am looking forward to the great work that our students will do during the second semester. I know we will have many more students recognized for their hard work at our second semester ceremony. As always, thank you for your continued support!
Generals Salute,
Mrs. Clowers
Parent Survey
Each year, to help improve our schools, Gwinnett County Public Schools collects feedback from our
families, students, and staff members about their school experience. This year, the school district is giving Educational Effectiveness Surveys to get feedback on nine characteristics of high-performing schools. Students, staff, and families will have the opportunity to take the survey during the month of February. Below are key dates and valuable information regarding the survey process for our families.
February 3 – March 7: The Family Survey is open. All GCPS Families received a link to the survey on via ParentSquare. The survey is available in English, Spanish, Chinese, Korean, and Vietnamese. The link to the survey will also be available in ParentVUE. Please see the flyer below for a QR Code that will take you to the survey.
Counselor's Corner
Attendance- Please be reminded to send in attendance/doctors notes when your child is absent or tardy.
Students who are on time to school and actively engaged in instructional activities greatly increase their knowledge, skills, and learning in general. It is my belief that students who are consistently tardy or absent miss out on teacher directions for morning activities, school wide morning announcements, and overall, lose valuable instructional time. Instructional time is needed to acquire skills in reading, math, spelling, writing, social studies, or science.
