Happy Principal Appreciation Month! We are grateful for these incredible leaders who guide our schools daily. Thank you for all you do!
Parent Advisory Committee (PAC) Night a Great Success!
We are thrilled to share that our recent Parent Advisory Committee (PAC) Night was a resounding success! With 188 attendees and over 20 staff members present, the evening was a wonderful opportunity to connect with our families and highlight the support available for our Multilingual students.
We were fortunate to have the help of student volunteers from the Spanish Honors Society and Hightstown High School’s Adelante Club, who played an important role in making the night welcoming and informative. Additionally, we were joined by our valuable community partners, including Rise, Zufall Health, Hightstown Library, and HEWSEPAG, who provided families with a wealth of resources and support.
Thank you to everyone who made this event possible – it was a true community effort that showcased our dedication to supporting our students and their families!
Beginning this year, all families must apply for free or reduced meals via paper or online via Genesis Parent Portal OR they must opt out via the Genesis Parent Portal. Each family has to make one choice or the other.
If you are interested in applying for free or reduced lunch via paper, you can find the application here.

Fall Sports
Field Hockey
The field hockey team has been doing nothing but excelling. Molly Frascella reached her 200th career save at our first game against Hillsborough and has continued to keep Hightstown alive in the following games. Rachna Archarya was named defensive player for the week of September 20th. As a freshman, Lilly Peto has come out strong scoring 5 goals for this year already. All members of the field hockey team have been an important piece to our program. Every single game the girls have been giving their 110% effort.
Soccer
Girls
The 2024 girl's soccer team is a young team full of new players eager to work for success this season. Our six seniors - Gabbi DeMarco, Rachel Shumsky, Sophie Cammarata, Katelyn McDonough, Grace Weissenberger, and Ada Pintado are looking to complete the regular season with a divisional title. The team is led by captains Gab DeMarco, Sophie Cammarata, and Liz Reisbord.
Boys
Captain - Parker Gordon
This season the boys soccer team entered camp with a renewed optimistic view on the season.
Six starting players from last season are returning and are providing the much needed leadership for the entire program.
Football
The 2024 Rams football program looks to build upon a large junior class of 28 players and a strong core of returning seniors to achieve a winning season.
Our captains are Jamell Duncan, Trevor McCarthy, Adrian Santiago, and Cole Vinson.
Cross Country
Boys
Captains: Mason Johnson, Cormack Lazzaro, Adisa Stewart, and Demetrius Davis
Losing a generational talent like Jack Kane is never easy, but with senior Burke Thompson finally joining the cross country team, there will be no backwards slide for the boys' cross country team this season. Captain Mason Johnson has taken a giant leap forward going into his junior year and with the help of co-captains Cormack Lazzaro and Adisa Stewart and sophomores Matt DeAngelo, Mateo Abad, Taha Jamali, Gautam Joshi, and Dhruva Sribuddheraju the team looks to be much more competitive this season.
Girls
Captains: Dia Patel, Hayley Watkins, Madalyne Ng
The girl's cross country team looks to take the next step into competing at the county championship this year, with 5 of the top 7 girls having returned from last season. With captain Hayley Watkins returning from a season-ending injury she suffered midway through last year, and the addition of star freshman Siena Rivera, the girls team is stronger than it has been in quite some time.
Volleyball
The Hightstown High School Girls Volleyball Team enters its first season as a Varsity and JV program, looking to build upon last year’s momentum. With a strong group of returning players, including sophomores Arleen Toor and Violet Tjoe, and junior Lexi Brown, the Rams bring valuable experience to the court. Fresh talent, such as freshman Jessica Jean-Mary and junior Payton Brown, adds depth and competitiveness to the team. With a mix of returning strength and new energy, the Rams are poised for a competitive season ahead.
