Yearbooks have arrived!: Students who were at Selwyn house in the 2023-24 school year received their yearbooks earlier this week. Enjoy looking through the pages that preserve so many memories! Please note an error on page 3: Sebastien Lajoie was mis-named as Samuel Lajoie. Despite careful editing, this unfortunate error made its way to print. The yearbook team wishes to extend its sincere apologies. We value and proudly recognize Mr. Sebastien Lajoie as our Head of Middle School in 2023-24.

Carnival Tubing Outing ~ Friday, February 7: There will be a large team of teachers accompanying the boys tubing at Piedmont. At the beginning and end of each run there is a Piedmont monitor. There will also be a team of teachers tubing with the students, in the chalet, on the top of the hill and at the bottom of the runs. The school requires the wearing of helmets for this tubing activity. Ski or hockey helmets are preferred. Please ensure that your son brings his labelled helmet, a hearty bag lunch and extra clothing. A snack will be provided by the school in the morning and on the way home. Please send your child to school dressed and ready for the outside activity. If we decide to cancel, boys will stay at school, have regular classes and eat their bag lunch in school.
ASP (Afterschool Program) News: Extracurricular club options are now available! Clubs will begin on February 11th. Please fill out the form here by February 18th. Club registration is on a first come, first serve basis and spaces are limited. For any questions, please email asp@selwyn.ca.
From the ES Learning Strategists: Recess Reflection will take place three days a week during afternoon recess for students in Grades 3-6 who struggle to cooperate, play respectfully, follow instructions, or show kindness to others during recess. This time will allow students to pause and reflect on their behavior, linking it to Veritas, helping them understand the impact of their actions and consider better choices moving forward. Our goal is to encourage personal growth and create a positive recess environment for everyone.
