A Note from Your Principals
Board of Education Student Spotlight
We were SO proud to be a part of the most recent Board of Education meeting. At Tuesday night's meeting, a group of 5th graders led by Ms. Leach, performed their concert piece “One Foot/Lead with Love” during the Spotlight on Schools portion of the meeting. Their performance was received well and complemented by many of the board members.
Congratulations for representing Eli Terry in such a positive way!!!
You can enjoy their performance below!

SBAC/NGSS Testing (Grades 3-5)
Our SBAC/NGSS testing will begin the week of April 28th and continue through May 15th. Grade 3, 4, and 5 students will participate in this testing during the first part of the day (8:45-11:45). We are asking our families to avoid scheduling any doctors appointments or other things that may cause disruptions to this part of the day.
Our teachers and students have worked SO hard this year and we want to set them up for success in showing their personal best!
The specific testing schedule is highlighted below!

A Peek Inside Our Week
National Terrier Day
To help celebrate Terrier Day, student ambassador Emma Army, took INCREDIBLE initiative and spent her own money (and time!), to purchase the supplies and prepare the materials to teach our students at Eli Terry how to make tie blankets that will benefit the animals at the TRACS Animal Shelter (located right here in South Windsor).
As part of Terrier Day celebrations, she’d visited classrooms on Thursday and taught her peers about the process for making tie blankets, as well as engaged them in making blankets.
Thanks to her initiative and drive, the shelter will have 25 new blankets to keep the pets cozy!
