Student testing plays a crucial role in assessing student progress, identifying areas for improvement, and providing valuable data to inform our instructional practices.

- Diagnostic assessments: These assessments help to pinpoint specific learning challenges and guide targeted interventions.
- Progress monitoring assessments: These assessments allow us to track student progress over time and make adjustments to our instruction as needed.

Parent Coffee
We invite you to join us for our upcoming Parent Coffee on Thursday, September 26th from 8-10 am in the Library. This is a wonderful opportunity to connect with other parents, learn about what's happening in your child's classroom, and provide valuable feedback.
During the Parent Coffee, we will discuss:
- School Updates: Learn about recent achievements, upcoming events, and important announcements.
- Classroom Visits: Have the chance to visit classrooms and see their learning environment firsthand.
- Open Discussion: Share your thoughts, questions, and concerns with school administrators.

Leader In Me Lessons
During Student Flex Time students will be participating in Leader In Me Lessons. Below is some information about this weeks lesson so you can talk with your child about what they learned.
6th Grade
Learning Target: I can understand the difference between proactive and reactive behavior.
Students will have conversation around:
- What a Habit is
- The 7 Habits of Leader In Me
- How will proactive behavior support their learning this year
7th Grade
Learning Target: I can identify proactive and reactive language and behavior
Students will have conversation around:
- The 7 Habits of Leader In Me -- specifically Habit 1: Be Proactive
- What does it mean to be a Leader
- What might be possible in our lives if we choose to be a leader
- How will being proactive help us lead ourselves and others this year
8th Grade
Learning Target: I can understand the difference between proactive and reactive responses
Students will have conversation around:
- The 7 Habits of Leader In Me -- specifically Habit 1: Be Proactive
- How might it be helpful to pause and respond based on the results we want to see
- How does it feel to use reactive and proactive language
A Message From the Nurse
ATHLETIC PHYSICALS
- All athletes must have a physical completed and turned in prior to the first day of practice.
MEDICATIONS AT SCHOOL
- Medication drop-off must be done by appointment only. Please contact Nurse Alisha directly. Her information is provided below.
- Parents are required to bring medication to school in properly labeled prescription bottles.
