Dear Aquin Families,

It was great to see so many of you at the family pizza night! It was great fun for everyone. Make sure you put the December Gingerbread house building night on your calendar now! This is also a great event, and the kids really like it.

As part of our Virtue of the Month program, we are doing a collection of items for the Ascension St. Joseph nursing home across the street. This month our virtue is Stewardship, so we are going to help some less fortunate residents with some goodies. Our items are listed below. We would love to give them to the residents on Tuesday, November 26th. Please participate if you are able.

December 6 - Saint Nicholas Day; Adesse Jeans Day (1 ticket sold)
December 9 (moved from Sunday) - Feast of the Immaculate Conception, PTO Meeting
December 10 - K-6 Christmas Program
December 10-16 - PTO Book Fair
December 12 - Feast of Our Lady of Guadalupe
December 19 - Adesse Jeans Day (5 tickets sold)
December 20 - Last day of Q2, Half Day of School (dismissal at 10:55 AM)
December 23 - January 3- Christmas Break

November Stewardship Collection Items

The collection is for Ascension St. Joseph residents. These items will go to both male and female residents.

chapstick
lotion
fun sized candy (no nuts please)
sugar free gum
individually wrapped toothbrushes
travel size toothpaste
socks - any kind, but grippy socks are helpful

Adesse - Our Fall Fundraiser

Adesse tickets went home this week. We really need your help in selling tickets for this great raffle. Ticket holders have a chance to win 365 times! More information is going out separately, but if you do not -understand or have any questions, please contact Mr. Peyton Glawe at 815-235-3154 x 221.

Attendance Procedures

Please contact Mrs. Gaulrapp if your child needs to be absent or tardy.

Tardy for Pre-K is after 8 AM. Tardy for K-8 is after 7:45 AM.

If your child is late to school, please come to the Galena Street entrance by the office and have your child check in at the office before heading to class.
