Disability Awareness Month Classroom Read Alouds & Resources

Please sign up as a classroom reader. Visits take 20-30 minutes and will celebrate Disability Awareness month. Lin Howe has a wonderful tradition of inviting parents & caregivers to read in October when CCUSD celebrates inclusion and disability awareness. There is a great selection of books so please sign up here to read starting the week of October 7. It will be a rewarding experience!

The Raise Craze Kindness Fundraiser Kicks Off Monday, October 7!

Raise Craze kicks off Monday, October 7 and ends Tuesday, October 22! Students will register and ask friends & family to support Lin Howe. They'll pay it forward for the donations received by completing Acts of Kindness. This is a great way to teach our students the importance of kindness and gratitude while raising needed funds!

Our goal is to raise $100,000 and complete 1,000 Acts of Kindness with 100% of students participating! Meeting our goal will fund school field trips & assemblies, classroom supplies, school programs, PE equipment, family fun nights, PTA programs and more! If we reach our goal, we'll SLIME Mr. Chabola on Tuesday, October 29!

It’s time for another Lin Howe PARENTS’ NIGHT OUT: Karaoke-Style! Leave all your daily responsibilities at home, and join us on Thursday, October 17 at 7pm for a night of carefree fun to hang with other Lin Howe parent friends, and meet some new ones.
