Weekly Wrap Up
Maple Place Middle School - 4/12/24 Week 30
Principal's Message :
Good Evening, Maple Place Families,
I hope that all of you had a restful and relaxing Spring Break last week and that you were able to spend time with your family and friends making lots of new memories. We certainly had a busy first week back here at Maple Place. The third marking period has come to an end, and report card grades will be available in the parent portal next Friday, April 19th.
Just a reminder as the weather gets warmer, and the students' clothing choices begin to change to meet the needs of the weather, we do have a dress code that is outlined within our student handbook and should be followed in order to prevent any dress code infractions. Additionally, it is important to remember that the school is air conditioned, so students are reminded to keep a sweatshirt or light sweater in their lockers as some classrooms are cooler than others.
The following items are impermissible to wear to school:
Flip flops or strapless shoes (shoes must have backs and/or straps)
Clothing MUST cover undergarments and waistbands.
Extremely short shorts or skirts (the length of shorts or skirts must meet the student’s fingertips with arms extended straight at their sides.)
See-through clothing
We thank you for partnering with us to provide your students with the best possible school experience.
Wishing you a wonderful weekend,
Melissa Keiser

Student Council Spring Fling Dance:
The Maple Place Student Council will be holding its first Spring Fling Dance on Thursday, April 25th for students in grades 5 through 7. The dance will run from 7:00-9:00pm. Students must be present at the dance by 7:30pm for entry.
Just a reminder - April 25th is Take Your Child to Work Day. Students attending work with a parent or guardian are eligible to attend the dance as long as you have notified the absentee line that this is why your child is absent. Also, please know that dress for the dance is casual. There is no need to purchase a new outfit or get dressed up. Just come as you are!
