Have a great weekend!

WEEK 4 OF PIRATE LEARN@HOME
It is important for you to continue to access Google Classroom for all of your assignments and communicate with teachers when and if you have questions. It is so important to keep up with your work during this unprecedented time so that you don't fall behind and are prepared when we return to school.
I also understand that for some of you, online education can be a bit stressful and challenging. We know that most of your parents work during the day and many find it hard to assist you or keep up with your assignments throughout the day. Please do your part to help out. If you find yourself struggling, we are here to help! Do not hesitate to call me, Mrs. Zielinski, Mr. Hendrix, Mr. Lewis or any of your teachers. The best way to contact us is through email.
I hope that you are doing well. Please let me know if there is something I can do for you.

Join the Challenge - March of Dimes
__________________________________________________________
Lubbock-Cooper ISD is committed to the health of our students, which begins long before they walk the halls of our campuses. Healthy babies grow into healthy Pirates, and we are pleased to partner with March of Dimes to ensure care and support for babies and mothers in our community.
When an individual donates online, they will receive an email containing a printable of a little Pirate. We would love for our Lubbock-Cooper families to print these little Pirates, decorate them, and display them in windows in the front of their homes to encourage neighbors and passers-by to donate, as well!
As part of this campaign, we will push out stories from LCISD families who have been personally impacted by March of Dimes. We will also encourage students to "chalk" their driveways and sidewalks with a variety of March of Dimes-themed artwork.
On Friday, May 15, we will wrap up this campaign and announce two winners: the campus that raises the most money, and the campus with the highest percentage of participation. It would be so helpful to have your support as a parent organization! Please help us spread the word and help your campus WIN! (The winning principals will be "arrested" by LCISD Police Officers and treated to something extra special!)
We know this is a unique and unprecedented time in our community, but the Pirate family continues to grow. Babies are still being born, and mothers still need assistance. Please consider joining us as we build the future, one baby at a time!
