There is no school for students on Monday, November 13th as it is a Full Day of Parent/Teacher Conferences.

*Parent/Teacher Conferences take place all week (Monday 11/13-Friday 11/17)

Please keep in mind when the temperature is 30 degrees and above the children will continue to line up outside as well as go out for recess. It is important that they are adequately prepared for the cold temperatures. Please be sure to dress your children appropriately for the weather.

Orders will be accepted through November 17th. Payment can be submitted via cash or check, made payable to Schiller Park District 81. Samples are available at school - stop in the main office! Orders will be received 3 weeks after we submit our order. Happy Shopping!

PreK and PATS families are invited to our annual Multicultural Thanksgiving Feast on Wednesday, November 15th from 2:00pm-3:00pm in the cafeteria. Please bring a traditional dish to share.

Please visit the lost & found located in the cafeteria to see if anything looks familiar. Over Thanksgiving Break we will be donating all of the remaining items.

The safety of your children is always our top priority at Kennedy School. It is important to review information that both children and parents need to be aware of to ensure the safety of all students during arrival & dismissal.

Please remember, there is NO parking in the South lot during arrival. Please take advantage of the drop-off lane by remaining inside your vehicle while your child unloads. After your child exits the vehicle, please wait until the car in front of you moves before exiting the drive-through-lane.

There have been an increased number of tardy students at Kennedy School. Morning routines are always more difficult when it is cold outside. Please allow yourself extra time to get to school. Students are to arrive between 7:40am-7:55am. You will see this blue sign during times when adult supervision is provided by school staff.

If you arrive after 8:00am, you must check your child in through the main office, as they will require a tardy slip. Please do not drop your child/children off if there are no adults outside, as the exterior doors of the school are locked.
