PRINCIPAL'S MESSAGE
Good Afternoon Iowa Community!
The week before Winter Break is always an exciting time at an elementary school. All of the students, and staff, are looking forward to the break, and there are many fun activities that happen. Our students have done wonderful work this first semester and have shown a lot of academic growth! I'm looking forward to sharing our data with the community when we return from the break.
Another highlight to share is that our 4th Grade students and Ms. Schlichting were on Denver 7 news for the 4th Grade small business fair that occurred on November 22. If you did not get a chance to see the news story, please click on the link further down in the newsletter.
I cannot emphasize enough the fantastic work everyone is doing and that is in partnership with our families and guardians. Please remember that Winter Break officially begins tomorrow, December 20 and will continue through January 7. Students return on Wednesday, January 8. I hope everyone has a wonderful holiday season. If you have any questions or concerns, please free to reach out to Mr. Smith by email (jbsmith@aurorak12.org) or by phone at 303-751-3660.
Sincerely,
Jason Smith
