Yesterday, the second graders received the book Just Like Caitlin by Ali Obermeier. The books were donated by Dickson and Luann Jensen, with Dickson being one of Caitlin’s former coaches during her time with the All Iowa Attack.

Last Sunday, the Girls on the Run completed the 5K. Thank you to the girls, the buddy runners, and families for the support!

Registration opens Friday at 6 p.m. for the 2nd session of the Soaring Hawks After School Enrichment Clubs! Clubs are free and will be held Dec. 2 to Feb. 7 (clubs meet only when school is in session).

Tips for registration success:

1. Update your information. Make sure your student’s current grade for 2024-25 is reflected in the registration system.

2. Double-check the age/grade requirements for your desired club.

3. Register early! Some clubs fill within minutes of registration opening.

4. Sign up for no more than 2 clubs.

5. Help your Hanawalt community by volunteering to provide rides home to other children. This important role helps keep clubs available to all students.

6. Make sure your student is available for all club dates. No changes can be made after registration closes.

Wow, Skate Night was a blast! We had first time skaters to skater that were flying around the rink. Thank you to Kylie and Patrick Rupe for organizing such a fun event!
