Willow Parent Bulletin # 34
May 10, 2024
Happy Mothers' Day
The staff wished you a Happy Mothers Day on Sunday. We know this extends beyond those who gave birth to all the extra people supporting our Wildcats. We hope your day creates some new memories to add to your family story. 💜
See You Tonight!
If you can't make the show tonight, you can still order using the link below. Last day to order is May 12th. These are great Mothers' Day gifts!
Thank You!
Thank you to the PTA and parents who made our staff feel extra special this week during Staff Appreciation. We have been pampered and well fed! It means a lot to have their hard work recognized!
Lost and Found
We have hung items and moved them outside. Please stop and take a look. Please leave the hangers, we have plenty more to put out!
Can I get a cheep cheep?
Our first round of chicks hatched this week, so the kindergarten hallways have had some interesting sounds! Three of our classrooms should hatch next week since their eggs came from a different place. The second group also had both brown and green eggs, so we are curious if their chicks will look different.
Yearbooks
We have a limited number of yearbooks available for sale in the Willow Office. They are $20 cash.
Bike Safety
Unified Champions
Our Young Athletes represented us well at the Special Olympics on Saturday. We had a great turn out of parent and staff member support, too!

Butter Braids are almost here! Butter Braid pick-up is scheduled for May 15th from 5-7pm. Pick-up will be at the James Hart School Cafeteria. Please enter through Door S.
Butter Braids are a frozen product and need to be picked up promptly to ensure proper storage. The PTA does not have a freezer to store your order, so please arrange to have someone come pick your order up.

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED
We need volunteers to help with pick up! We love having the NJHS students help with pick up! Please consider signing your 7th or 8th grade student up to help. Click here to sign up to help with Butter Braid pickup.

Planning for Next Year
Planning for next year is well under way. If you would like to share your perspective about how your child learns, please use the link below. We will also gather information from your child's current teacher. The link will close on May 31st. Here are some things to consider:
- We do not accept requests for specific teachers.
- Sometimes a best friend doesn't translate into a good classmate.
- Your Wildcat will be placed with a classmate or two from this year.
- The classroom teacher will provide us with academic levels and other pertinent information.
Who is Safe, Caring and Ready? We are!
Bulletin Stats:
