Our Boosterthon Fundraiser kicks off this week! We have a lot of fun in store for our students! We will have a kick-off assembly for students on October 23rd! This yearโs goal is to raise $45,000 to support enhanced instructional materials (student magazines, Brain Pop, Pebble Go) and school cultural arts programs as well as PTA sponsored events for our school. All students will participate, and everyone can help out by sharing or giving. Let's come together to make this Fun Run a huge success! Visit mybooster.com to register your student today.
We are asking ALL families to come out this year and cheer on your child running laps on Thursday, October 31st! This will be on the front field! Come cheer on your child!

Fall Conferences
Teachers will be reaching out to you or have already reached out to set up a parent conference. All families should sign up for an in-person or virtual conference to learn more about your student's social and academic progress in school.
What to expect during your conference:
A chance to talk about your student
Hear about your students' strengths and opportunities for growth (social-emotional and academic)
Chance to ask questions
Fall Make-Up Pictures
Make-up picture day will be on Thursday, November 7th.
Picture retakes are for the following students:
- any student absent on the original date
- any new student that enrolled after the original date
- any student returning a package for retake
Stock the Candy Dish
Mrs. Clark tries to keep the conference room candy dish stocked all year! You would be shocked at how often the dish is filled!
Board reviews feedback from the initial draft of the 2025-26 enrollment plan
Feedback from the initial draft of the enrollment proposal was presented this afternoon during the Board's work session. Based on input from staff and families, we are recommending some changes to the initial draft. The Board also provided feedback for staff to consider in preparing the final draft of the proposal, which will be presented on Nov. 26. Watch the presentation on YouTube.
A virtual information session will be held on Oct. 22 at 6:00 p.m. and an in-person public hearing will be held on Nov. 12. The Board is scheduled to vote on a final plan on Nov. 26.
Visit wcpss.net/2025enrollmentproposal to view the updates, check your proposed assignment, and review FAQs.
The Board also reviewed options for families affected by the proposal to apply for a stability transfer, allowing them to stay at their current school without district transportation. Review the proposed stability rules.
Families are encouraged to provide feedback through ThoughtExchange until Nov. 3.
