A LETTER FROM PRINCIPAL JOHNSON
Hello DCPR Friends, Families and Community Partners,
On behalf of the entire DCP Redford staff, we sincerely thank you for your participation in our First Family Math Game Night. It was so good to see the smiles on everyone's faces as they played the games provided. These events are memory makers for families and staff alike. I can't wait for the next event.
Be on the lookout for the Intent to Return form that will be coming via email. It would go to the email that is on file with the main office. If you haven't seen it, it may be in your junk mail. We are also encouraging our families to sign up for Summer Advantage. This is 25 days of learning and awesome field trips. Enrollment is still open.
Testing season is here. We want to improve on our results from last school year and show everyone what we have learned. It is important that all of our scholars are at school on time. Tardiness and early picks interfere with the learning process. You can learn more about both re enrollment and Summer Advantage during Parent University on April 15 at 9am in the library.
Finally, you will receive notice of the end of the year celebrations. Many events had to be rescheduled for reasons outside of our control. We look forward to closing out the year with you, celebrating all of our accomplishments!
Tomorrow, Monday, April 14th we will begin the final NWEA testing, iReady, PSAT for the 8th grade and MSTEP for grades 3-8. The testing schedule can be found here;
We need all scholars present and on time everyday to ensure everyone is tested.
WE LOOK FORWARD TO SEEING OUR SCHOLARS ON MONDAY, APRIL 14TH NO LATER THAN 8:05 A.M!
