Color Run
A big thank you to everyone for helping to make our 2024 TCE Color Run a success! We had a great time and raised almost $18,000 for our school. We could not have done it without all of our amazing TCE families. I also want to send out a big thank you to all of our volunteers that helped in the weeks leading up to the big day and the night of the Color Run. In addition to their class prizes, each grade level is also receiving an extra recess time to celebrate our TCE Color Run success.
Mark your calendars for our Family Game Night
A free event open to all families!
Reminders
A Note From Our Librarian
It's that time of year! Fall leaves, cool air, and PUMPKINS! The TCE Library presents the Book Character Pumpkin Extravaganza! Your child or family can decorate a pumpkin as a book character. Please NO CARVED pumpkins. You may decorate, paint, glue, etc. a real or fake pumpkin to look like a character from a book. Please include a paper or index card with your child's name, homeroom class, character's name and book title. Pumpkins may be dropped off in the library through October 30th and will be sent home October 31st. If you have any questions, please email Mrs. Mancuso at kmancuso@coppellisd.com
Yearbook Orders Open!
Free & Reduced Meal Eligibility
In order to qualify for Free & Reduced Meals, families are required to complete an application each year to determine their eligibility. CISD is encouraging our eligible families to complete an application online at www.nlappscloud.com.
Parents, guardians or students can add funds to their accounts in person at the school cafeteria via cash or check, or for a small fee, they can use the "My School Bucks" app to deposit funds with a debit or credit card. Visit www.coppellisd.com/childnutrition for more information about school breakfasts and lunches or to create or add funds to your child’s school lunch account.
Dads and Dudes Club
If you are interested in learning more about or joining our Dads and Dudes Club, we'd love to have you. Please email Nick Walther at dadsclub@towncenterpto.org and be on the lookout for upcoming volunteer opportunities.
Background Checks
We ask that all families complete a volunteer background check at the start of the year. They do not carry over from year to year. Since the background checks take time to process, we ask that everyone completed one in case any type of volunteering opportunity (class field trip, Dads and Dudes Club, Room parent, class volunteer, field day, etc.) arises during the year that you are interested in. Please click on the link below to complete.
