Os Tipos de Democacia
Democracies, today, work differently from country to country. There is representative democracy, this being the most common, and direct democracy that is rarely practiced, because it only results in micro-states, countries almost invisible on the map, with very few inhabitants.
Democracy strongly defends the separation of the three powers: legislative, executive and judicial. In democracy all powers depend on each other, and have the same weight in the exercise of power.
Legislative power: Whoever exercises this power is the assembly of the republic that is constituted by several deputies. The greater the number of voters, the greater the number of deputies of that party in the assembly. The assembly is responsible for making and approving or vetoing the laws. The executive power: This power is exercised by the government, which is chaired by the prime minister. This body is responsible for enforcing laws, through institutions / organizations. The judiciary: This power is exercised by the courts and their magistrates, with the function of judging fairly all citizens who do not comply with the laws.
Democacia, a melhor solução
For all these reasons, democracy is today considered by many nations the best political regime, although there are many forms of democracy, all of which end up repeating its main ideals.
