Falcon Flyer
December 6, 2024
We had a great first week of December at Fire Ridge. We are working on finishing the semester strong. Next week grades 3-5 will take the MAP math test and K-2 will test in reading. Fourth and fifth graders will have their concerts on December 12 and kindergarten has their gingerbread event on Friday.
December 20th we will have Winter Blast for students. Students will get to engage in different winter activities. There is an opportunity for parents to come help with this event. The sign up is below.
Thank you to everyone who donated gifts to members in our community through the mitten drive. It was incredible to see how many gifts our Fire Ridge Community was able to give.
We had our PTO meeting Tuesday and we will begin to brainstorm ideas of how to support our students with the Falcon FUNdraiser funds. A form will be sent in January to gather your input.
As the weather gets colder please send your child with coats, mittens/ gloves, and hats. We will do outdoor recess and walking club if it is feels like 10 degrees or warmer.
Please call or email with any questions.
Educationally Yours,
Joy Fuller
