Mitchem's Memo
2/7/2016
News and Notes
The BLT met on Friday and discussed some concerns with indoor recess. BLT members will be bringing information and ideas back to PLC's to promote discussion and obtain feedback.
The team also discussed ways to address traffic concerns on the main drive near door #1. We decided that cones will be strategically placed on the road to narrow the space to one lane. The safety of the students and staff are extremely important and this measure only strengthens that commitment. A phone message will be delivered to parents to prepare them for this added safety measure.
Lastly, the BLT discussed donations for the upcoming Trivia Night. We recognize the importance of supporting the PTA as they continue their efforts to raise money that all students at Lincoln benefit from. Team members will bring ideas to back to their teams for feedback. The BLT will meet again soon to discuss how we will proceed.
