Update/ School News
- CRHS is hosting SAT testing on the weekends! If you want to take or retake your SAT, sign up at https://satsuite.collegeboard.org/sat
- Starting on Monday, September 16, 2024, all student drivers must park in their assigned parking spots. Your parking permit number corresponds to your designated parking spot, and you must park only in that spot. Please ensure you follow this policy to avoid any potential penalties or disruptions.
- Be on the lookout for your child's test scores! Students who took English Language Arts in eighth grade last year, Maryland Integrated Science Assessment, Geometry, Algebra I, or High School Government Assessment, the score reports will be sent home on Friday, September 13, 2024. Students will receive the reports from their 4th block teacher.
- The Sophomore class will be selling baked goods at the 9/20/24 football game
- EVERY STUDENT needs to have this form filled out. The 2024-25 Student Benefits Form (Household Income Data Collection) information is used to help provide school meals at no charge to all students, along with other districtwide services. It also provides individual benefits to students and families such as:
- discounts for summer and recreational programs
- internet access
- fee waivers for SAT and AP testing and college applications
- eligibility for Maryland Children’s Health Insurance Program (CHIP)
- If anyone wants to drop off food for students, that student can only pick up the food on their way to lunch. They will not be called out of class to pick up food and cannot consume it anywhere other than the cafeteria during their designated lunch shift.
- Tickets for Homecoming will be sold at lunches, coming soon, $12 per ticket! Homecoming October 5th at 7:30pm to 10pm! No tickets will be sold to a student with an obligation. This includes the PowerSchool student update found in the PowerSchool Parent Portal
- Colleges are starting to visit CRHS. Make sure to keep checking for emails from Ms. Reed for more information
- Are you College & Career Ready (CCR)? There is a big focus on earning CCR by the end of 10th grade. More information can be found below:

Student Update Form
Families, be sure to visit carolinecps.powerschool.com to fill out the Student Information Update before September 30th! Even if nothing has changed, we need it completed! There will be a DUAL ENROLLMENT INTEREST MEETING held on September 16th at 9:00 in the Library. If you are considering taking classes through Chesapeake College during the Spring semester you need to attend this information session.
