Graduation 2025
Important Information
Mote
Mote is a new name-pronunciation tool that we are using this year for graduation. Your student will be emailed a Google Form on March 17th that will ask them to use the built-in microphone on their Chromebook to record their name, allowing us to capture the correct pronunciation. Students MUST use their Chromebook because the recording is attached to their school email. Please remind your student to speak slowly and clearly.
Cap and Gown
This is the time of year when parents fear that they've forgotten to order their students cap and gown. Don't worry! As part of the school year registration process/fees you have already ordered and paid for them.
Prom 2025 Information (Week 3)

College Research Opportunities, Spring 2025 (Week 3 )
In prior years, College of Lake County hosted a spring college fair that allowed freshman- juniors an opportunity to begin exploring colleges/universities at varying stages and in some cases seniors an opportunity to ask some final questions before choosing their college/university Unfortunately, College of Lake County is no longer offering that program, but there will be some other opportunities in the northern and northwest suburbs that are worth checking out. Mrs. Singh recognized by Illinois Directors of Student Activities
Mrs. Singh was honored by the Illinois Directors of Student Activities for her work with SASA at their annual state convention on March 10.
From the awards program:
"Rachita “Rimi” Singh has demonstrated exceptional leadership in founding and growing the South Asian Student Association (SASA). When a group of students approached Rimi last year with the idea of creating a space to celebrate South Asian culture, she embraced the challenge and built the club from the ground up. Despite having no prior experience running a club, her dedication has made SASA a thriving, inclusive space for all students. As the only Indian employee at our school, Rimi offers unique representation and insight into South Asian culture, inspiring students of all backgrounds. Under her leadership, SASA has grown significantly, hosting events like a Holi celebration, Maggi parties, and Diwali crafts. Rimi’s commitment to inclusivity creates a welcoming space for students to learn about and celebrate South Asian traditions, fostering cultural exchange and understanding. Her tireless efforts have created a community where all students feel empowered, valued, and supported."
