Educator's Workbench - Cohort 7
Registration is now open for round 7 of “The Educator’s Workbench” - a FREE, 2-part Series (in person) where we will explore:
- the power of flexibility in our classrooms
- the value in having access to resources (tools, strategies, structures) that can be implemented dynamically
- the importance of adopting an inclusive mindset and skillset to support a universally designed classroom
As a registered participant, you will receive a copy of Inclusive Learning 365 (C. Bugaj, M. Marotta, K. Janowski, B. Poss) along with an actual box filled with tools that can be added to your educator's workbench.
Cohort 7
When: Thursday, January 9th, 2025 AND Thursday, March 6, 2025
Where: Bath Middle School (13675 Webster Rd)
Time: Both sessions run from 9:00 am until 3:00 pm
Cost: Free and lunch and SCECHs will be provided for both days

Google Arts and Culture
Google Arts and Culture offers a global collection of art and cultural artifacts, preserving them digitally for universal access. By digitizing and publishing museum collections, Google uses AI to create new interactive experiences with these pieces.
How to use it in education:
Use Google Arts and Culture to introduce students to art, history, and exhibitions, helping them engage with artifacts through innovative AI tools.
Terms of use:
Google Arts and Culture is for users aged 12 and up. Teachers can display it for younger students while following the guidelines.

AI Summit
On December 17th, the 2nd annual AI Summit will be held at the Lansing Center. The focus is Advancing AI in Education. Registration is still open and the cost is $179.99.
Code.org: CS Fundamentals Intro Workshop (Kdg-5)
Computer Science Fundamentals is a Code.org curriculum designed for students in kindergarten through fifth grade (K-5). Each grade-level unit is between 12-20 lessons long and is built for flexible implementation. During the workshop, participants will learn from certified Code.org facilitators, participate in a model lesson, learn the management system, and dive into the lessons.
There are virtual options to choose from throughout the year. Sign up today for a series that works best with your schedule and share this information with your colleagues.

Check out the free upcoming REMC Virtual Courses that provide an easy, convenient way for teachers to connect and collaborate while reducing time and cost.

Each course is open for three weeks and consists of two one-hour “live” webinars that are recorded and available for viewing later and eight hours of resource review, assessment developments, and written reflection.
