Pasco Student Speaks Competition
Pasco High Scool hosted its Pasco Students Speak event to choose our representative to the district showcase on Wednesday, March 12th. We had eight participants this year: Dylan Matthews, Dayana Paz Meija, Nariah Jones, Emma Gaskin, Emmalee Zamora, Xavier Torres, Avery Winters, and Alexander McCoy. After a close competition, the judges (Mrs. Graham, Ms. Viles, Mr. Licklider, Ms. Werthwine, Mr. Nelson, and Mr. Greener) selected Emma Gaskin and her presentation "Your Right to an Education." Well done to all participants and good luck to Emma bringing some Pirate Pride to the district showcase next month!
