#getrootedCN
First Student Day: Wednesday, August 13
*Superintendent's Update*
Welcome back to CN! We hope this summer found you having fun and relaxing. Whether you are a returning family or joining us for the first time, we are so glad to have you as a part of the Central Noble community.
This year sees changes...tough changes due to budget challenges. Please know this--our staff and leadership teams are working hard to make sure that high quality education across CN stays strong. Our teachers and support staff continue to be dedicated to helping every student succeed.
You'll also see updates through the school year as we move forward with our Strategic Plan. This plan will help guide our goals and decision making, even through these tough financial times. The plan is focused on Communication, Connection, Preparation and Engagement. Look for updates throughout the year and improvements over the next five years as we follow this collaborative plan.
At Central Noble, we believe in staying Rooted. Rooted in our values, our community and our commitment to every student. Even when things changes (which is never easy), our focus stays the same--to provide a safe, caring and excellent learning environment.
We can't wait to see the amazing things this year will bring. Let's continue to work together to make it a great one!

*CELL PHONE POLICY*
Pursuant to Senate Bill 185 and under the direction of the School Board of Trustees, our Administration adopted the following policy regarding wireless communication devices, which includes cell phones in the classroom. This policy remains in place for the 2025-2026 school year.
In order to preserve the teaching and learning environment, cell phones/electronic devices may only be used for educational purposes in the classroom setting with teacher permission. It is the expectation that devices remain turned off or silenced before entering a classroom, office, library, locker room, lab and/or theatre. Students may power their phones at the request of the teacher. If a cell phone/electronic device rings, vibrates or is used for any reason without teacher permission, is visible at anytime during class time or if caught using it on campus during class time, a staff member may confiscate the device and store it in the office until the end of the school day. Refusal to surrender the device is considered insubordination and will result in a disciplinary consequence.

Changes to Bussing
A Transportation Change Request must be completed for any long-term or permanent change in bussing. This form is available on our website under the Buses tab, by CLICKING HERE, or physical copies are also available at each school office. Please note that changes can take up to 48 business hours/2 School Days to take effect, so plan accordingly.
Bus Rules & Route Information
Riding the bus to school is a privilege, not a right. A full list of Bus Rules & Safety Tips is available on the CN website (www.centralnoble.k12.in.us) within the Buses page found under the Info Center.
Our bus fleet includes buses with seat belts. Please download and review the Training Guide below with your student. This form is also available on the CN website, alongside the Bus Rules & Safety document and will also be distributed to all registered bus riders in August. Students who are on a bus with seat belts, whether during their full-time route, a shuttle, field trip or athletic event, are required to wear their seat belt at all times. There are NO EXCEPTIONS to this rule. Should students not abide by this rule bus privileges may be revoked.
Student MUST be READY AND WAITING for their bus each day. If your child misses the bus, parents are responsible to provide transportation to or from school. Due to tight routing schedules, the driver will not be able to re-route to come back for students who miss the bus.

If Impact is in session on a pre-scheduled date that Central Noble is not (such as Spring Break), the bus will still run as normal for students to attend. The only time the bus will not run is on a delay, weather closing or pre-scheduled day off that coincides with an Impact Closure, such as Winter Break. If you have questions about if the bus is available, please speak with the Transportation Director or Guidance.
*When Central Noble is delayed OR closed, the Impact Bus will NOT run.
*When East Noble is delayed OR closed, there are NO AM sessions, even if Central Noble has not delayed or closed.
