Ridgewood Middle Bulldog Bulletin
March 7th
Hello Ridgewood Families!
It was a great week here at RMS!
The school year seems like it is flying by! We are already getting close to Spring Break!
Spring Break will be March 17th through the 21st.
This week our maintenance department installed urinal dividers in the all the boys restrooms. This was something our boys have asked for the last few years and they were excited to see them installed this week. Check out the picture below!
Have a great weekend!

Ridgewood Middle
National Junior Honor Society for 25-26
Attention current 6th and 7th graders:
Honor Society Applications for the 25-26 school year are now available outside the office. All applications are due to the box in the office by 3:00 on Friday March 14th. If you have any questions please see Mrs. Auer, Mrs. Shreve or Mrs. Wilken.
Attendance and Activities at RMS
Good attendance leads to academic success! If the kids aren't at school, they are not getting the instruction that they need! Of course, if any student has a fever or is sick we always want them to stay home so everyone can stay healthy. If students are not coming to school for reasons other than appointments (Dentist, Doctor, Funeral, etc.) and sickness on a regular basis (attendance rate below 90%), they will not be able to participate in any of the RMS after school activities or qualify for attendance incentives. Please note that appointments (Dentist, Doctor, Funeral, etc.) and sickness can only be excused if a documentation is turned into the office (Doctor/Dentist note, etc).
Book Fair at RMS!
Dear Families,
Get ready—the Scholastic Book Fair is coming to our school! This is a great opportunity to connect with your child over the thrill of bringing home new books to dive into again and again. Studies show that kids read more when they choose books for themselves. A love of independent reading boosts academic success, plus children who read more frequently also report improved mental health[1].
Here’s everything you need to know about the Book Fair:
Dates: March 31 – April 11
Location: RMS Library
Family Event schedule and location: 4/7 – Conferences 2:00 – 7:00 in the cafeteria
There’s even more info on our school’s Book Fair homepage:
https://www.scholastic.com/bf/ridgewoodmiddleschool1
While you’re there, set up a Book Fair eWallet, the digital payment account that allows your child to shop for books at the Fair without cash. Then share your eWallet link so friends and extended family can add funds.
When you fund an eWallet, you’ll have the opportunity to contribute to a giving initiative called
Share the Fair™. Your contributions directly support our students who need help buying books
from the Fair.
Many of us still remember the rush of finding the perfect book at a Scholastic Book Fair. I hope you’ll join your child at our school’s Fair and share a reading experience they’ll remember forever.
