Dear Families,

Have you started reading Almost Super yet? We enjoyed seeing students dressed up for SuperHero Day on Wednesday. Students had the opportunity to answer their first trivia question on Thursday and prizes were given out to one student per class who answered correctly. It's not too late to start reading and students will have two trivia questions to answer next week. Save the date for our Family Night on February 13th from 5:00-6:30. We will have a SUPER time together that night.

Don't forget, there's NO SCHOOL on Monday, January 20th.

Last week we shared that we will be implementing the Zones of Regulation here at Neihardt. This week the focus of our lesson was identifying expected and unexpected behaviors. Students were given scenarios and asked to determine if the behavior demonstrated was expected or not. Next week we will dive into the Zones of regulation with an overview of each zone.

Please note: until further notice we will only be offering Options 1, 2 and 4 on the below menu.

Thank you to Mr. Lawrence, father of Emmett and Elliott who volunteered as our Watch D.O.G.S. this week. He spent his time in classrooms, PE, music class, eating lunch with his students and recess. We appreciate you coming in and volunteering.
