Dear Parents,

The FAST is a progress monitoring system that is administered three times a year to track our student's progress in learning the Benchmarks of Excellent Student Thinking throughout the year. Please click on the PDF's below to learn more about this testing.

The girls dance planning Committee is meeting Tuesday, September 19th in the cafeteria at 8am. The dance is scheduled to be in early November. Please join us if you are interested in helping, looking forward to seeing you!

You may begin signing up for lunch with your student on Monday, August 21st. You must sign up with the link provided below to be on campus and secure a spot for lunch with your student. Seating is limited. When reserving a lunch time make sure that you include the total number in your party (including your student). Guidelines for having lunch with your student went home this week with your student. We have designated the Center Court area with tables for you to use. Parents are not allowed in the cafeteria to eat with their child. Please meet your child in Center Court, not in the classroom.

The ReaXium mobile application, MyReaXiumApp, is launching this school year over the next few weeks. Here is some information about ReaXium:

Come join the fun at Morning Mile on Gemini’s South Field every day from 7:15 - 7:45. Morning Mile is free and all students in the school are signed up. Parents and siblings are welcome but drop off is fine too! No need to be on time, just show up anytime before the first bell.

5 laps around the field is a mile and for every 5 miles that are completed (running or walking), the students earn shoe charms. Once they earn 100 miles they earn a shirt and a celebratory lap.

Because of Gemini’s success in the Running Zone Race Series last year, we have decided to participate in the 2023-2024 Race Series. The top school prizes are $1,000 for 1st place, $500 for second place and $250 for 3rd place. For every race that is participated in, each student will get credit for 25 laps (straws) and a fun charm for their Morning Mile necklace. Please come out and support Morning Mile! Signing up for a race is also a great way to get motivated to make it to the field each morning plus they are super fun!
