Principal’s Message – End of School Year 2024–2025
Dear, Ericson Families,
As we close out the 2024–2025 school year, I want to take a moment to thank you for sharing your amazing children with us and for the support you’ve shown our school community throughout the year. We have had a great year together!
We are proud of our students’ academic growth and personal development. It has been a joy to watch them learn, lead, and support one another, and we are excited to celebrate every one of them as they move forward into their next grade level. To our returning Vikings, we can’t wait to welcome you back in the fall. To our promoting 5th graders, we are so proud of you and know you’ll continue to shine as leaders in middle school!
This year has been filled with memorable highlights—from the Fall Festival to our Multicultural Fair, and so many other enriching and joyful events. None of this would have been possible without the dedication of our Friends of Ericson, our Viking parent volunteers, and all of the community members who continue to show up for our students in meaningful ways. Your time, energy, and generosity have made an impact, and we are deeply grateful.
Looking ahead to next year, we are eager to deepen our collaboration with families and bring even more exciting opportunities to Ericson. One goal is to expand our evening enrichment events, our recent STEAM Night was a success and we want to build on other family-friendly experiences. If you’re a parent or community member with a passion or skill you’d like to share with our students, I invite you to reach out to me directly at dashton@sandi.net. Let’s work together to make next year even more inspiring and fun for our students!
As we enter this Memorial Day weekend, I hope you enjoy a beautiful and restful summer with your families. Don’t forget to continue practicing your leadership skills, and join in Mr. Z’s amazing summer reading program to keep the learning going!
