April is the month of the military child and we loved celebrating our military connected students and their families on Friday. Thank you to our Student Council for doing an amazing job of leading the ceremony. Also a big thank you to our classrooms and student representatives for making the event so meaningful. It was a joy to see so many military members and families join us. You could feel the pride our community has for our military population and we are so grateful for your service.
This week we have a few more family events, so make sure you check out all the flyers below. On Thursday families can joins us during lunch for a Western BBQ and on Friday you can come see learning in action when we showcase our Leader in Me work. We hope you can make it!

The online application for PrimeTime is now available! PrimeTime is a collaboration among San Diego Unified School District Extended Learning Opportunities staff and PrimeTime Partner organizations to provide before and after school care on school sites. Details about eligibility, priority criteria, and timelines can be found at the link below.

Jones Elementary PTA
Our Parent Teacher Association works with Jones Elementary to provide programs and support to benefit the students, their families, teachers, school administration and the community. Run entirely by volunteers, the PTA raises money to support enrichment programs, program instructors, educational assemblies and field trips, family events, and special classroom supplies.
