Counseling Corner - Spring into Success and March Toward Break!
Did you know that spring and March aren’t just nouns? They’re verbs, too—full of action, energy, and movement! Just like the season, this is the perfect time to spring into learning, march toward success, and finish strong before a well-earned break. As we move through March, let’s stay focused, tackle challenges with enthusiasm, and make the most of every opportunity in the classroom. And of course, with spring break upon us, we can also spring into some well-deserved rest and fun! So, let’s keep up the hard work, so we can march confidently into the rest of the school year, knowing we gave it our best. Keep learning, keep growing, and keep moving forward! Happy Spring!
Preparing Student Chromebooks for CMAS
Before returning to school from Spring Break, students should fully restart their computer to ensure their device is updated for CMAS. Please fully restart (or power off and on) student chromebooks at least once during Spring Break. If a student’s device is not working properly enough for them to complete CMAS exams, students MUST see Mx. Brandin in the library during academic lab/advisory so the device can be fixed. Alternatively, students or their adults can fill out a tech help request form at ANY time and Mx. Brandin will find students to help fix the device.
If, after restarting the device, students can no longer log in because their password is incorrect, this indicates that the device was not restarted after their last password reset. Students will have to remember their newest, most recent password (they would have entered the new password twice, ensuring it matched, in order to reset it). If they cannot remember their password, they will have to ask a teacher to reset it.
BHMS Theatre Perfomance
On Friday, April 4 at 6:30PM in the BHMS Cafetorium, Please join Troupe Innovation from the Diversity And New Cultural Education Club (DANCE) and No Place For Hate (NPFH) as dancers and actors from BHMS present their uniquely created show "Journey". Act 1 will include 6, 7 & 8th grade artists sharing choreography from professional instructors, Ms. Kenney and each other, along with student actors performing monologues and dialogues about the Journeys we all take in life. After a 20 minute intermission which includes concessions, Act 2 will include professional guest performers and advanced level students from the surrounding community. Donations are encouraged at the door but not required. Come support the Arts in Broomfield!
Combination Master Lock Notice
Dear BHMS Parents and Guardians,
As we approach the end of the school year, we would like to remind you that students were issued a combination lock for their lockers at the beginning of the year. We will be collecting these locks during the last week of school.
Please note that if a student does not return their lock, a fee of $10.00 will be added to their Infinite Campus Fees. If your student requires a replacement lock, they may bring $10.00 to our registrar, Susan Montoya.
Thank you for your attention to this matter and for your continued support.
BHMS School Store - Donations Needed!
We are thrilled to share that our students have been actively earning Falcon Feathers, and it's wonderful to see their hard work and dedication being rewarded! We are low or out of our most popular sellers: ICE, Propel, other drinks (no soda), chips (spicy and not).
Your generous donations truly make a significant impact, and we are grateful for your continued support! Thank you to the Hedberg family for helping us inspire our students to embody the values of DREAM.
Bus Loading Zone Change
Now that construction is completed, we will be moving our bus drop off and pick up back to our proper bus loading zone along Daphne. This change will begin on March 31st. Thank you for your patience and flexibility throughout the year!

Family Assignment Planner
Hello families, this year we are excited to announce our Assignment Planner that will be visible to families. Please open the link and look for your student's teachers by grade level. Teachers will update important dates and due dates on this document, or refer you to where to go to find that information. Please let us know if you have any questions, and we hope you will find this tool useful for helping your students stay on top of their assignments.
Volunteers Needed for 8th Grade Continuation
BHMS 8th Grade Continuation is scheduled for Thursday May 22nd! We need parents/caregivers who are interested in working with BHMS staff to coordinate decorating the gym for this celebratory event for our 8th grade students and families. In past years it has been great to have a couple 7th and 6th grade parents sign up to help 8th grade parents make this a fun, successful event for the 8th grade students. Continuation typically includes a ceremony and short reception for students and families followed by a social for 8th grade students and Staff. Please sign up if you are interested in helping and someone will reach out to you soon. Thank you!
CMAS Snack Donations Needed
BHMS students will be participating in CMAS testing April 7th - April 9th & 10th (8th grade only) and we want to recognize their effort! We need your help providing snacks and mints for each student for each day of testing.
