Conferences are here!

Right after spring break, we will be hosting conferences on April 3rd and 4th. It is important that your child attends this conference as they will be the one leading it! They will share how they are doing at school and your child's teacher will also be available to answer any questions you might have.

Spots are available on a first come, first served basis, so please sign up right away.

Dear River Mill Families,

It is hard to believe that we are turning the corner into spring break! We had a fun week where students had the opportunity to practice kindness and spread joy. Thank you for supporting our dress up days and reinforcing kindness at home.

Conferences are here! Your child gets to show off their hard work to you! If you have not, please sign up for a conference time via the sign up link above.

During conferences, our Book Fair will be open, and it will continue to be open through the week. You can learn more information about the Book Fair, just keep reading below.

3rd - 5th Grade Students will return their chromebooks to school during conferences. Please help your child remember to bring them then. Moving forward, their chromebooks will be left at school so they are consistently at school as we get ready to begin state testing.

We also highly encourage you to bring any Read-a-thon funds raised to school during your child's conference. All money is due April 6th, but if you bring it on the conference days, then the responsibility is removed from your child. Thank you for your support of our Read-a-thon!

Thank you Ms. Natali!

It is time for us to say goodbye to Ms. Natali. She has supported our school community with care, compassion, and love and we are grateful she chose to share that with us. As she looks ahead to her next career adventure, we wish her the best. Thank you, Ms. Natali!

This Week's Schedule

In order to help you all know what the week looks like, we will list it out clearly for you each week. REID days for are invited students and will change each week. Students are invited to REID days for a variety of reasons. Sometimes it's to extend or challenge a student, and other times it might be to provide extra help on a particular skill. On those days, our doors open at 7:50 and dismissal is at 10:00am. If you have questions about this week's schedule, please let. us know!

Book Fair - Select Here

The book fair begins April 3rd and runs through April 7th. Please set up an eWallet for your child to shop at the book fair. It will be open during conferences for you to browse.

Congratulations Team Raptors & Team Pickles!

Congratulations to all of our participating Sports Challenge Teams! Our 5th grade students worked together, showed perseverance, made memories, and had fun!

Team Raptors won the 35th Annual Sports Challenge event, coached by Mr. Wilensky & Ms. Tidd.

Team Pickles won the Sportsmanship award and will have the opportunity to challenge the staff in June!

Kinder Connect - April 27th

Kinder Connect is an event where we host our incoming Kindergarten students and their families. If you know of a child who lives within our school boundary and will be ready for kindergarten, please help spread the word. It is so important that we register our incoming students to ensure we have the right staffing levels right at the start of the school year. If you have questions, give our office a call!

2023-24 Pre-K

Did you know we offer Pre-K for 4 year olds? We have a limited number of spots available in our program. If you are interested, please select the box below to fill out an intake form. All forms must be turned in by May 12th for consideration. If we have more interest than spots, some will not be accepted. Thank you for understanding.

My School Bucks - Meal Service Payment System

My School Bucks is an online payment service that provides parents the ability to securely pay for meals, monitor student cafeteria purchases, and receive email notifications for low account balances.

Please note: currently, a convenience fee of $2.75 will be applied for each transaction.

All transactions are processed and applied to students' accounts nightly.
