A big thank you goes out to the West Grove Fire Company for teaching us all about fire safety this week! Students did an excellent job listening to the firefighters on how to stay safe.
We are currently looking for a 3.5 hour per day instructional aide. This is a great way to be part of our school community on a part-time basis. See the personnel page on the district website.
On Thursday, 10/17, we will conduct our first security drill of the year. More information will be sent next week.
Remember there is NO SCHOOL on Monday, 10/14 due to a teacher inservice day.

Spotlight on Learning
Mrs. Bostick’s first grade class brought science to the nature trail this week. The students used flashlights to discover if items found in nature were translucent, transparent, or opaque. They also collected leaves to create leaf rubbing drawings.

Signing up is free and easy, and the funds raised directly support the PTA’s budget. This helps fund school programs, events, educational resources, and family activities. Every dollar goes back into enriching the school community for students, staff, and families.
