Due to the modified day on Monday, November 18th, Heartlight will be working with students at their modified dismissal time of 1:05 PM. They will be released after Heartlight at 2:00 PM. Thank you!

A reminder that we have one more day of Parent/Teacher Conferences Monday, November 18th. We will have one more modified day. Preschool and TK hours will stay the same, however all Kindergarten-6th grade students will end their day at 1:05 PM. Please mark your calendars for the altered pick-up days. Thank you!

The Santee School District schools support the Santee Santas Foundation with annual donation drives. This year, we will be collecting only donations and gift cards for local grocery stores in any amount. All donations go directly to families in need with the Santee School District boundaries as grocery gift cards. For more information, please see the attached flyer.

• If we can match last year's dollar amount of $500, Mrs. Hicks will wear a chicken costume at recesses.
• If we raise $1,000, Mrs. Hicks will wear the chicken costume all day and extend student recesses for all students.
• If we raise $1,500, Mrs. Hicks will wear the chicken costume all day while working in the amphitheater/lunch area and extend recesses for all students.

After Thanksgiving Break, starting on Monday, December 2nd, Kindergarten students will be released at the Primary Dismissal Time of 2:20 PM. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause families. If you have any questions, please contact the front office. Thank you!

• Mission Fed Family Financial Wellness Workshop with Pizza at Momentum: Momentum Tutoring, in partnership with Mission Fed, is hosting a free Family Financial Wellness Workshop to empower families with money-saving skills to guide them towards financial success. Register here. (flyer attached)

• The Santee Success Program is looking for volunteers to help keep up and maintain their community garden. Volunteer hours are every Monday from 8 – 10 a.m. Some gardening knowledge is preferred but all are welcome to apply! Email Genesis.lopezcedillo@santeesd.net for more information.
