A Message From Mr. Hansel
Cascade Community,
We want to take a moment to reflect on the incredible success of Post-Prom—a fantastic event put on by our teachers to show students that you can have an amazing time without the need for drinking. It was a fun-filled show that proved you don't need alcohol to make memories and have a blast. The energy, enthusiasm, and spirit from everyone involved were truly inspiring!
We also can’t wait for Prom tomorrow night and all the excitement it brings. We're ready for a night full of dancing and making memories that will last a lifetime!
Looking ahead, the Cadets Royale next weekend promises to be another exciting event, bringing the community together for a great cause. We hope to see everyone there showing up and showing out in support of our students and Cascade pride!
Thank you to everyone for your continued support, and we look forward to seeing you tomorrow night and next weekend!
With pride,
Jeff Hansel

Prom Information
For chaperones, students, and school staff, they will enter the Zoo parking lot from the main Zoo entrance off of Washington Street, just like they would for a normal Zoo entrance.
If parking booths are staffed, their light will be flashing green. If the parking booths are staffed, please stop at a staffed booth and kindly share you are here for the Cascade Prom to avoid the parking booth fee.
Once you have pulled through the parking booths, you pull drive straight. Just before “cement island” (long strip of cement that divides the parking lot into a West/Left half and an East/right half), please turn left. You will see painted lines on the ground for a left turn lane and a straight turn lane. I will have an a-frame at this point in the parking lot, with a sign that directs your folks to turn left.
Once parked, guests will enter the Zoo via the Zoo exit. This is where our greeter will be positioned.
Along this pathway we will have directional a-frames along with 2 Zoo volunteers to help direct your attendees from 5:30pm – 8:30pm.
There will also be a golf cart to transport guests to and from. The Zoo volunteer driving the golf cart from 5:30pm – 8:30am is Rachel Kartz (same volunteer that drove it last time it was used or your group ) and the Zoo volunteer driving the golf cart from 8:30pm – all guests have left is Allie Garman.
I have highlighted the drive into the parking lot in green, marked the location of the parking booths in red, and marked the location of the Zoo exit gate in blue:
The walk from the Zoo exit to the Dolphin Gallery is highlighted below in green:
