Your Weekly Update from Johnson Elementary School
Dear Jaguar Families,
Thank you to all of you that came with your Peacemakers to the Spark Kindness MLK Jr. event. The jaguars did an amazing job singing at this event and the staff was so proud.
Last week we kicked off our Johnson Legacy Project in an all school assembly. You can read more about it in Mrs. Belcher's newsletter below.
We are half way through our school year and are being hit with colds again. Please remind your children to wash their hands and keep them off of their faces.
Have the best weekend of your life!

Chapter1:
I love Johnson because the teachers are so nice and fun. Also, Johnson is not a school, it’s an educational playground! It is so fun to be at. I would go there on the weekends if I could! The kids there are so nice. Also, you don’t have to worry about getting a cut because if you do the teachers and nurse will help you out.
Chapter 2:
Indoor recess is not too glum. There’s plenty of games and toys at Johnson to play with during indoor recess. If I haven’t convinced you yet, I don’t know who will. I’ll leave it with this…JOHNSON IS THE BEST!!!!!!
Adar Gr. 4
It’s not just the buildings that make Johnson, Johnson. It’s the teachers and the community that all come together to make one big school to teach and be with friends. Every year we do something as a school, after time everyone becomes your friend. The teachers are great. It was open on September 19,1949 so if you think about it, this school program has been running for 75 years, that’s a long time!

IMPORTANT INFORMATION
DAILY REMINDERS:
Smart watches and phones should be in backpacks during the day.
Please label your child's clothing and water bottles. We are hoping to keep our lost and found from growing any larger.
Please send your students to school with a water bottle and a snack each day. We have bottle filling machines that students can use to refill as needed. Everyone has snack daily and should bring that in from home.
Remember also that you can update PickUp Patrol anytime. This is the way we reconcile attendance and run dismissal so please add any changes to your account in a timely manner.
