Dear Friends and Neighbors,

Fall is my favorite time of year. I enjoy horseback riding, hiking, and camping with family and friends. I like the cool mornings and the sunny afternoons. This fall is especially fun taking my first grandson, Sven, on stroller rides to enjoy the fall weather! We are so fortunate to live in such a beautiful area with all the autumn foliage.

The Chamber is gearing up for the 2024 Annual Meeting & Holiday Gala that will be held on Friday, December 6. Since last year’s Gala was a hit with casual attire, we are continuing that this year. This year’s Gala’s Theme is Ugly Sweater. You should be receiving the invitation soon if not already. We will also have entertainment, social hour, and dessert sponsorships again for a chance to have added recognition for your business. Find your favorite ugly sweater and make plans to attend this fun event!

Also, coming up is Celebration of the Lakes in February. This year $10 raffle tickets are being sold for a 4-wheeler (2024 Polaris 450). Make sure to stop by the Chamber to purchase a chance to win on February 8!

Remember to attend our Chamber luncheons that are held on the second Thursday of each month and Friday Fika that’s held the second Friday of each month. These are great opportunities to get your business name out there and connect with other business owners. Check out our bi-weekly email for up-to-date information. Festival Theatre Presents "A Christmas Carol"

November 29-December 22nd

A Christmas Carol rounds out our 2024 season with a holiday favorite which Festival Theatre audiences are sure to enjoy. Festival Theatre beloved alumni artist Jaclyn June Johnson adapts a new stage script from the Charles Dickens novel. Celebrate the holidays and warm the heart with the classic story of miserly Ebenezer Scrooge, a Christmas haunting, and what truly matters in life. Buy tickets here

November at the orchard is a lovely time to visit! We have all your favorite apples, bakery items for the holidays, your favorite apple treats and gifts in our gift shop!

Each year, Family Pathways, in collaboration with Community Partners and Business Sponsors, helps hundreds of families by providing personalized gifts to local kids (19 and under) and to brighten their holiday season.

Our Christmas Program serves residents in the following counties: Carlton, Chisago, Isanti, Kanabec, Mille Lacs, Pine, and Polk County in Wisconsin, as well as the City of Forest Lake. To qualify, applicants must currently be utilizing one of our services and be at least 18 years old to complete the form. Sponsored participants, who will receive the gifts, must be 19 years old or younger and live in the same household as the applicant.

By coming together, we help ensure that everyone in our community can experience the joy and warmth of the holiday season.
