Veterans Day Celebration
Eastview staff and students will celebrate Veterans Day on Monday, November 11th. We would like to recognize our families and extended families for serving our great nation. Invitations and instructions were sent home with students this week. Please check your student's communication folder for additional information. Please feel free to reach out to the office with any questions.

Looking Ahead to Halloween
We are looking forward to celebrating Halloween at Eastview on Thursday, October 31st. Please see the below information regarding student costumes and the Halloween parade. Please refer to your teacher’s guidelines for any classroom-specific events.
Costumes:
Please use good judgment when selecting costumes for school.
Costumes depicting violence are not appropriate in a school setting.
Students should not bring masks that may obstruct their view while at school
Students should not bring makeup, or hair dye to school.
Weapons may not be a part of any costume (including swords, sticks, guns, etc.)
Parade:
Weather permitting, we will parade outside the school beginning at 9:00. Parents should stand on the blacktop or along the grass in front of the building. If it is raining, we will parade inside, and we will not be able to host parents.

The Eastview PTO wanted to take a moment to express our heartfelt gratitude for your generous support of our recent bingo & silent auction fundraiser. Thanks to your commitment—whether through attending or donating—we were able to surpass our goal of $3000, and raised just over $4,000! This achievement would not have been possible without your involvement.
Your contributions play a vital role in helping us reach our goals and support our school. Every dollar raised from this fundraiser will go directly towards the rock wall rental for PE class, and any leftover funds will go towards a future assembly for the school. We are truly grateful for your generosity and dedication.

Donations Needed for Trunk or Treat
Hey Eastview Families!
As we gear up for our exciting Trunk or Treat event, we’re reaching out to ask for your support in making this a fantastic night for the kids and our community.
We’re in need of donations for candy, raffle items, and gift cards. If you have any fun items or experiences you’d like to contribute for us to raffle off, we would greatly appreciate it! Also, we’re looking for themed gift baskets like a movie night, coffee lovers, game night enthusiasts, and even sports memorabilia to spice up our raffle. All money raised will go towards the teacher dinner that is held during parent-teacher conferences.

Still Looking for Parents and Businesses to Host Our Trunk or Treat
We currently have 12 cars signed up for our upcoming Trunk or Treat event on October 24th. We;d like to get to at least 20. This is a fantastic opportunity for our community to come together for some Halloween fun. We will be having a raffle again this year, along with limited snacks and activities that will be available for purchase.
We’re inviting our Eastview families and friends to sign up to decorate their cars and hand out candy. We expect to have 200-250 kids this year, so the more cars we have, the better the event will be! It’s a great way to show off your creativity and enjoy a fun evening with our school
community.

Birthday Book Club
Help celebrate your student's birthday by making a donation to the Eastview library. When a donation is made, students will get to select a book that will be added to our library. The book will have a special book plate put in signifying that this book was donated by your student. They will also have their picture taken with the book and will be the first allowed to check this book out.
