Dress for the Weather
In Oregon, we recess outside. As winter weather sets in, please be sure that students are dressed appropriately for outdoor recess. Daily recess is an important part of our schedule, and we encourage students to wear warm coats, hats, gloves, and boots to stay comfortable and enjoy their time outside.
**Please put names in your students jackets and winter wear.
Resource Room
If your family needs support with winter clothing, our School Resource Room is here to help! We have an assortment of winter weather items available, including coats, boots, and other clothing essentials. Please reach out to the front office or Mr. Hampton if you need assistance.

Order Your 2024-2025 Ewing Young Yearbook – A Treasured Keepsake!
It’s that time of year again—time to order your 2024 Ewing Young Yearbook! This special book is a wonderful tradition, capturing all the laughter, friendships, and memorable moments that have made this school year so special. It’s a keepsake your child will cherish for years to come!
The cost of the yearbook is $27, and we have two easy payment options:

1st & 2nd Grade Fiddle Sticks Program
Fiddle Sticks is an introductory program, instructed by NHS coaches and players, that teaches players the basics of lacrosse and gets young players ready for the next level of play.
Saturdays: 8:30am - 9:30am: April 6 – May 18, @ the NHS Turf Field

Youth Gymnastics
A non competitive program designed to teach flexibility, strength, coordination, and body awareness using gymnastics skills while building positive self-esteem in a relaxed, fun, yet challenging atmosphere. Activities include bars, tumbling, vault, balance beam, and Tumble Trak. We offer very small classes designed to meet each child on their individual level.

Paper Gardens Creative Writing Contest
Paper Gardens is an annual creative writing contest sponsored by the Arts Alliance of Yamhill County. Writers who live, work or go to school in Yamhill County are invited to submit original poetry or prose. Prose categories are fiction or creative non-fiction. Poetry categories are traditional, free verse, haiku/tanka, and poetry of place-Oregon. Judges' selections are published in the Paper Gardens anthology. All published writers receive a copy of the book and are recognized at the book release celebration hosted by the Chehalem Cultural Center.
