CTE
Mr. K. Brown’s Architectural Drafting class received some cross curricular training from Mrs. Ford this week. The architectural class was working on landscaping for their site plans. Mrs. Ford spoke to the class about the different types of trees and shrubs used in landscaping. She also cautioned the students about placing plants near certain areas of the house due to the debris that is produced. After the brief lesson on plants, Mrs. Ford also talked to the students about educational and career options for Landscape Architect’s and Landscape Engineers. This is a great example of how so many of the CTE classes are related and how our students can better prepare for a future career through CTE.
