A Special Tribute to Mr. Gibson ⚾
On Wednesday night, the family of the late AMS Principal Scott Gibson was honored in his memory with the first pitch at the Denton Ryan vs. Argyle baseball game.
Scott dedicated the early years of his career, from 1997 to 2004, as a teacher and coach in basketball and baseball at Denton Ryan. His first cousin, Bret Warnack, serves as the head baseball coach at Denton Ryan.
Scott then devoted the last 18 years to serving as an administrator for Argyle ISD. Despite the rainy and windy weather earlier in the day, as the game began, an incredible rainbow appeared in the sky, a beautiful tribute to Scott's legacy.
Argyle won the game 4-2.
