Friday Family Message
Hello Families
I am filled with immense excitement as we approach graduation!
This is a very special time for our graduating seniors, their families, and our entire community. The Class of 2024 has demonstrated incredible resilience, persevered through challenges, and achieved great things inside and outside of the classroom.
Their dedication to being prepared for the future of their choice is truly inspiring. Please join me in the coming days to celebrate the Class of 2024 and demonstrate our pride in their accomplishments.
Reminder that the Stanwood High School graduation ceremony is 7 p.m. Friday, June 7 at Bob Larson Stadium. This is a ticket-only event. However, anyone can watch online via our livestream options (https://shs.stanwood.wednet.edu/families/event_streaming)
At 6 p.m. Tuesday, June 11, Lincoln Hill High holds its graduation ceremony in the Stanwood High Performing Arts Center. Family and friends are invited to attend. This event will also be available online via our livestream options (https://shs.stanwood.wednet.edu/families/event_streaming).
Free swim lessons available
As you know, safety is our highest priority. The summer months are no exception. The school district partners with local municipalities to ensure our families and local citizens are safe and aware when there are specific safety concerns or updates.
Toward that goal, we want to let you know that the Stanwood-Camano YMCA is hosting their annual Safety Around Water program again this year.
The Safety Around Water program provides students with free swim lessons focused on water safety skills and the foundations of stroke techniques and mechanics.
The program is offered Monday-Thursday afternoons June 17-27.
Registration is now open online on the Safety Around Water program website.
