Worried about AI?
Tips for classroom pedagogy to reduce likelihood of AI "cheating"
1. Design work so that the student process becomes transparent (handwritten version, only type on assigned doc so line by line history available. etc.)
2. Turn on originality report for every google classroom assignment (works with slides too). Not only does this check the web, it checks our district's repository of assignments (which increases the more teachers use the originality report function).
3. Have conversations with students about their products/process.
To learn more about detecting AI, check out the slide show below. Ideally, you don't want to rely detectors as they are not 100% accurate...yet.
Deep Dive into Google Sheets: All the Functions You Didn't Realize You Need!
If you avoid Google Sheets because spreadsheets are scary or if you are a regular Joe Brown sheets user, check out this workshop on functions/uses for sheets that may make any of your data work a little easier.
AI In Canva Revisited
If you clicked on the Canva AI image below in last week's email, you may have been directed to a different workshop. The website version has the correct link, but I kept it below for your convince. Find out how easy it is to design with "Magic" AI in Canva!
