Week 3 - Fall Semester
On Monday, we will have a B Day Schedule, which is the same as a Wednesday/Friday schedule with periods 4 - 7. School will still start and end at the same time.
I would like to thank all of our families who attended the first Coffee with the Principal hosted by STEM and Bernstein HS. We had over 60 participants in addition to the support staff from both schools.
Additionally, our students took the iReady Beginning of the Year on Thursday and Friday. We had 95% completion rate for Reading and 96% completion for Math. Big thanks to our support staff and teachers for helping our students.
This Friday is California Admissions Day and a School Holiday. Monday is Labor Day and also a School Holiday. Enjoy your 4 day weekend!

- 8/26/24 - Monday's bell schedule will be changed to a "B Day" Schedule, which is the same as a Wednesday/Friday schedule with periods 4 - 7. School will still start and end at the same time.
- 8/27/24 - Our first school-wide Astembly is Tuesday during Advisory! We will be honoring students of the month and playing fun games! Students - please go to Advisory first, then come down with your teacher to sit with your advisory.
- 8/28/24 - Senior Parent Meeting will be at 5:00 in the Auditorium.
Los Angeles Unified is committed to providing every student in our District with a safe learning environment. As a part of the Every School Safe: Blueprint for Safety, throughout the 2024-2025 school year, students will be taught strategies to help them recognize concerns and how to ask for help. Students throughout LAUSD will participate in the six (6) presentations during assemblies, and advisory/homeroom. For this month, students will be learning about Creating Welcoming Environments.
- 8/30/24 and 9/2/24 - This Friday is California Admissions Day and Monday is Labor Day. Our school will be closed. Classes will resume on Tuesday, 9/3/24 at 8:30.
- All students should have received their textbooks. Please see Ms. Jazmin in the Main Office if you have not.
