Fall Festival is in less than 2 weeks! Have you purchased your tickets yet?

This is a private event for CFES families only to kick off the Fall Spirit.

* We will be collecting donations for KACS at the Fall Festival.

We are so fortunate to provide amazing events and experiences for our students and staff. However, these events and experiences cannot run themselves, and we have a shortage of volunteers to help plan them. We desperately need volunteers to be able to provide the events above, and we especially need volunteer involvement from our K-2 families, as many of our regular volunteers will be ‘graduating’ with their 5th graders. Most committees only need ~1 hour a week, and have a finite duration of 1-2 months leading up to an event, and every committee has direct support from the PTO Board. No prior experience is necessary! Sign up today!

For our non-fundraising events, if we do not secure a planning committee (at least two people) 60 days before the event, we will have to cancel it.

Join us for a longstanding favorite CFES event, Buddy Breakfast! At this FREE event, students are encouraged to bring one (1) special "buddy"-- a parent, relative, neighbor, family friend-- for a special breakfast of donuts, fruit, and coffee in the school cafeteria. Families can also shop the book fair in the gym.

*If you volunteer, your child can bring an extra "buddy"*

Registration and volunteer opportunities will go live in our September 30th newsletter, but for now, save the date!

Please keep an eye out for future FOCUS events this school year.

These presentations are always extremely valuable to parents, and we highly recommend you try to attend those that are relevant to you, or will be relevant in years to come.

Did you know? Instead of clipping, Box Tops has gone digital, and you can earn money for CFES just by scanning your receipts?

1.Download the Box Tops app. It's free to download from Apple's App Store or Google Play. When first opened, the app will ask you to select the school you want to support (Chadds Ford Elementary School).

2. Once you've downloaded the app, you can start scanning store receipts within 14 days of purchase. The app will automatically add Box Tops to CFES's earnings online, giving you the visibility to see how you are supporting the school.
