Hat Day - students may wear a hat for $2. Funds will be given to our Life Skills classroom for a service project they are working on.

SUBMITTING ABSENCES FOR ALL DAY

Please use the following steps to submit a Skyward absence for all day only. If you are only going to be gone for a part of the day, you can just contact the front office. Doctors notes can either be brought back to school or emailed to lbmsattendance@lcisd.net within 48 hours.

Again, this option should only be used for a full day absence:

open the skyward app on your device
click attendance
click add absence request
make sure date is correct
make sure all day is selected
use the dropdown arrow to select a reason
add comments if necessary

This is the process for middle schools. We understand that the elementary and high schools may have their own process.

CHEER TRYOUTS FOR THE 2025-2026 SCHOOL YEAR

If your child will be a 7th or 8th grader next year and is interested in trying out for cheer, please see the info below.

HIGH SCHOOL SCHEDULING - LCHS

Lubbock-Cooper High School will host a Scheduling Meeting for parents of current eighth grade students who plan to attend LCHS next school year.

Monday, January 27

6:00-7:00 p.m.

LCHS Performing Arts Center

At the conclusion of the general Scheduling Meeting, parents are encouraged to stay to learn more about the new Lubbock-Cooper High School Collegiate Academy program (see flyer below).
