December IB Learner Profile: Caring
IB learners are Caring. They show empathy, compassion and respect towards the needs and feelings of others. They have a personal commitment to service, and act to make a positive difference to the lives of others and to the environment.
IB students bring this commitment to community and others to their activities and leadership roles at university and carry it throughout their lives.
OUR First Home Basketball Game
This week we played OUR first home basketball game of the season. We have a couple more home games before the break. Make sure you're coming out to support OUR teams.
Students must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at all games. Here are a few pictures of OUR Step Team, Spirit Squad, Cheerleaders.

MLL Students: ACCESS Testing
ACCESS Testing, a test for Multi-Language Learners which determines placement in MLL services, will begin after the New Year starts. Here's a first glance at the start dates:

- Thursday, 1/9: Listening

- Monday, 1/13: Speaking

Title I Document Sign Off
Title I documents regarding Summerour Family Engagement have been uploaded on the school website. We greatly appreciate families who have already signed these documents on Parent Square.
If you have not downloaded the app yet, please do so to access documents and acknowledge the receipt of "The Plan... The Promise" by signing electronically. Once you download the app, click on the tab "More," then click "Forms/Permission," open the "Complete Back to School Forms'' tab, scroll down to select each document, click on "Review and Sign," then sign your full name electronically, and submit.
Another option could be to access "The Plan... The Promise" on the school website, print copies, and return a signed cover page to the Parent Center before October 18. The Parent Instructional Coordinator is available for parents who might need additional help downloading the app and signing documents.
