In this third week of Advent, JOY is everywhere!
Thank you to all who attended the concert for Victorian Christmas. The students did a beautiful job. And, thank you to Mrs. Stanton, the Queen of Joy, for preparing our students so well.
More joy will spread throughout the community on Thursday as we carol throughout town. Please let the office know if you are able to join us at 12:15 p.m. Students are to dress in PE Uniform, but may bring festive hats, antlers, etc.
And, you will see that the Parish Christmas Concert has been rescheduled. See below for details.
As we get ready to head into our Christmas break, please know that you and your families are in my prayers. Merry Christmas to all of you!
Enjoy the joys of the season,
Sincerely in Christ,
Mrs. Tice

On behalf of my entire family, I would like to sincerely thank the school community for your generous donations during this challenging time. Your support is providing invaluable assistance as we navigate Mr. Weiser's health challenges. We are deeply touched by your kindness and the outpouring of compassion from teachers, staff, and families. Your generosity has made a meaningful difference, and we are incredibly grateful for your thoughtfulness and care. Mr. Weiser is making a remarkable and positive recovery from his stroke, showing incredible strength and determination every day.

Thank You to Santa's Workshop Volunteers!
Thank you to the many elves who volunteered for and/or contributed to this year's Santa's Workshop. Whether you donated items, helped with setup or cleanup, or assisted students with shopping or wrapping their gifts, your participation helped make the day a great success!
Snow Bowl
We look forward to our first-ever "Snow Bowl," which will be held from 3-5 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 2 at Bellefonte Lanes. This family fun event will put a new spin on our annual winter event to close out Catholic Schools Week, with the intent of alternating between a family bowling event and our traditional "Snow Ball" family dance every other year moving forward. Stay tuned for more Snow Bowl details in January.

Jubilee 2025 - Pilgrims of Hope
Jubilee 2025 - Pilgrims of Hope
Pope Francis has chosen the motto, "Pilgrims of Hope" for the Jubilee , and encourages all the faithful "to be tangible signs of hope".
Luce is the Vatican's official mascot for the 2025 Jubilee. Luce translates to "light" from Italian and represents the Catholic pilgrim. Her outfit is supposed to represent the Vatican flag and "the journey through life's storms."
Our diocese has many exciting things planned for the year and we will be sending home prayer cards and leaflets with more information.
- The first will be the Opening Mass on December 29, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. at the Cathedral of the Blessed Sacrament in Altoona.
In addition to the DAJ Pilgrimage to Washington D.C. on October 17, 2025, individuals of all ages are invited to use the Pilgrim's Passport from December 29, 2024 to September 8, 2025.
The Pilgrim's Passport includes 13 Holy Site Churches named by Bishop Mark, as well as every church in our diocese. Use this passport to "get on the road" over the coming months and enjoy the beauty, warmth, and strength of rich history of our diocese. You might just win one of two over night packages or special gift cards.
