A Word from the Head of School
Hey BCS Family,
I hope everyone had an enjoyable Fall Break this last weekend. Our staff had a chance to do our annual Beach Retreat this past Thursday, and I wanted to share a question and a thought with you that was posed to us from Pastor Chad Poe with Grace Bible Church in Clute.
Essentially, we were challenged to recall, remember and recommit to our "why" that brought us to Brazosport Christian School. What we often face as life starts and gets busy is we begin to put all focus and emphasis on the what of our tasks, roles, and assignments, quickly leading to frustration, angst, and exhaustion. The "why" is what grants us purpose, endurance, and faithfulness to where we are. My ask of you, in tandem with our staff, is would you also remember your "why" in being at BCS? The why's motivate the what's and the how's, so let's not forget the reason why we are all here at BCS.

Bulgaria Trip 2025 - Interest Meeting
Juniors and Seniors - You are invited to join us for an interest meeting for our annual Bulgaria trip. The meeting is this Thursday, October 24 at 6:00 PM to cover the base information about the trip, expectations of assignment, and costs.
If you will be in attendance or are interested in hearing more about the details of the mission trip, please let Mr. Sikes know of your intent to be at the meeting. We want to give all interested parties a small turnaround time to be able to hear the details and make a clear decision about participating or not. As a reminder, this is not a mandatory event, but is open to all Juniors and Seniors willing to go.
Foundations of Legacy Gala - November 16, 2024
As we approach the date of our Foundations of Legacy Gala, we thank everyone who has already committed to making this event a success. Your enthusiasm and support are what make BCS such a special community.
Auction Items Needed:
We still need auction items for both our live and silent auctions. Donations of goods, services, or unique experiences greatly enhance our fundraising efforts. Whether it’s a piece of art, a service from your business, or tickets to an event, your contributions are invaluable.
Legacy Awards Nominations:
This is also a final call for nominations for our Legacy Awards. We are looking to honor outstanding teachers, alumni, and families who exemplify our school’s values and have made significant contributions to our community. School Store is coming up on October 25 and November 8, and we have open spots that need to be filled. Typically the school store has items like pencils, notepads, trinkets, holiday themed items, and more. Prices range from $.10-$5.00.
