Message from the Principal
Hello!
HOCO week is in the books and what a great week it was. Thank you to all the community members, teachers, and staff that helped to make this week one to remember. From daily spirit games, to our parade and bonfire, to the dance itself, this week always marks the high point in our Fall season!
Good luck to all our Fall fine arts and athletics as they head into tournament season. Good luck specifically to our Red Devil golf team who will be headed to the state competition this weekend. We also will be focusing on students' future careers in the month of October with our Career Fair scheduled for October 23rd. Students will have the opportunity to hear from many different career presenters, as well as colleges and all branches of the military.
We are excited to head into the rest of our Fall season and again thank you for all your support!
Go Red Devils!

HOCO 2024 -- Thank You!
Thank you to all the individuals that made our Homecoming week a great one. We were able to host a wide variety of events to keep our Red Devil spirit charged up! Thank you too all the following individuals and organizations that made the week a success:
1. The STC City Council and STCPD department working to make our HOCO parade a success!
2. The STC parents that organized our Clash of the Classes daily games!
3. Our HOCO advisors Ms. Jeffries and Mrs. Myser for organizing the dance!
4. Bill's Towing for providing our Smash Car!
Pink War 2024
Students are invited this week to donate to Breast Cancer Awareness and Research as we compete in the sixth annual PINK War vs UL. The school that collects the most donations will be awarded the PINK War trophy at Friday's game. The STC grade level that collects the most in donations will receive a donut breakfast hosted here at the school.
Senior Spotlight! Get your submission in early!
Seniors and Senior Parents -- We are excited to be highlighting you this year on our social media platforms. Please see the QR code to access our senior spotlight form. Our goal is to spotlight each of our 2025 seniors on our social media outlets this year. This is an optional program, but we look forward to recognizing those students who are interested.
USAF All Star Leadership Day
This is an opportunity for students to experience hands-on learning, participate in leadership challenges, learn about different career fields, tour Air Force aircraft (C-17 and KC-135), see an F-16 fly by, and learn some leadership lessons from some community leaders. This will be a day they won't soon forget. Check the HS Office for details.
ODNR Job Shadowing Opportunity
Current high school juniors and seniors are invited to apply to explore career opportunities
within the Ohio Department of Natural Resources (ODNR) later this fall. Applications are now
open to take part in ODNR's job shadow day on Friday, Nov. 22. ODNR's job shadow program
sheds light on various divisions throughout the department, including law enforcement,
information technology, natural resource protection, environmental sciences, business and
administration and engineering. Students will select from a variety of job shadow
opportunities and then be assigned to one of ODNR's divisions for the day. More information
about ODNR's divisions can be found at
